What does "being in love" mean to you?

I thought this column was interesting: Very different takes on being in love, from 4 different men.

What does "being in love" mean to you?

  1. wow, I just spent several minutes trying to put it into words, but they all fall short.
try this - For me, it's knowing that there's someone who would do anything at all for me, even things she wouldn't like, and that I would never ask those things of her, because she wouldn't like them.
    And vice versa.

  2. That is absolutely beautiful, Guap. Yes. Reverence for each other's well-being -- willing to do whatever's needed, but looking out for them even more than you would yourself. Well-put.

  3. For me, it has changed. I used to describe it with the word 'passion' and all the feelings that accompanied the high. Now it's deeper and simpler. Being in love is being completely naked with someone and feeling absolutely beautiful and wholly accepted. (And I don't just mean a lack of clothing.)
